My third biochemistry test was returned today, and I scored the minimum grade that I needed to secure an "A" in the class. It's nice to have it done already - it looks like I don't even have to take the final.
I'm not sure if I should stop studying for and attending that class now. Do I owe some effort to the teacher, myself, or God? Are there better things that I could do with my time?
I almost feel like doing the readings and studying for and taking the final, just for completeness. Also, I wouldn't mind learning the material, and I don't want to take advantage of the professor's kindness. Although, I don't plan on asking her for recommendations or anything.
Hmm.

Good question. Consider: Do you feel like you got your money's worth from the class? Do you know enough of the material to consider yourself well trained? Will the lessons from this class be applicable in another class or situation further down the road?
I don't think you should attend the class or final out of a sense of compulsion, because such a feeling breeds resent, and resent kills education. If you go, you should do so because you want to learn more or because you want to challenge yourself.
Though, if you want my opinion, you've been working pretty hard lately, so a little break might be a good thing. Give you extra time to study for other, more challenging classes, too.
I agree with jonathan that that extra time might be better allocated to studying for other classes. Stuff they teach you at the end of the semester usually are the least useful anyways.
