Congratulations to Kristy and I for our 1-year anniversary! It's been a great relationship. The distance has been hard, but it is worth it. I've learned a lot from her, and there's so much potential.

We crafted some stuff for one another. I love it.

Primary medical school application has been processed! I'll start getting and doing secondaries soon-ish. I applied to:
MSU
U of M
Wayne
OSU
U of Cincinnatti
Loyola Chicago
Northwestern
SLU
Wash U
Creighton
Georgetown
New York School of Medicine

We'll see how that turns out. My criteria are:
location (close to home)
rank of the program
prestige of the university
catholic/religious education
facilities, labs, etc.
curriculum
fencing opportunities in the area
other things to do in the area (family & friends nearby, big city, discgolf courses nearby...)
(cost/scholarships offered, unless I decide to do HPSP and let the military pay for my education)

So yeah... I don't know enough about any of those schools to even have a top pick at this point.

I'll look into them mostly in the interview, I guess. Maybe I'll look up more if their secondary application is really nasty, in the hopes of eliminating them as a choice.

Leaving for New York soon! Don't let me go without seeing you, if you're in town!

Have I mentioned that I don't use the internet as much when I'm home?

Things are going well. I turned in my primary medical school application on Sunday (yea!). I am doing some clinical volunteering - it's pretty... lame. I am working part-time at a manual labor job. I was accepted to the Alumni Volunteer Program (assist/teach at my old high school) for Spring 2007. I was accepted to the 6-weeks a Jesuit program in Manhattan.

Yuup. Seeing old friends and spending time with my family & with Kristy. Very nice.

Need to nurture myself better spiritually, though. I'm slackin' off in that category.

Went to Vann's graduation last weekend. It's interesting to see my old friends make their futures.
